Grandma's Family Casserole
1 lb. ground meat (beef or pork or use 1/2 and 1/2
1 onion, chopped
1 cup canned tomatoes
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup grated cheese
1/2 cup soft fine bread crumbs
1 cup macaroni, cooked
Saute meat and onions until meat looses its color. Add macaroni, tomatoes, salt and half of cheese. Pour into a greased 1 1/2 quart casserole. Combine crumbs and remaining cheese and sprinkle over top. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes or until and bubbly.
