Pasta with Vodka Sauce
It's very easy and fast, I used part of a low-fat recipe and part recipe from a box of ravioli.
Half a bag ziti or similar noodles, already boiled
about three onions, cut up
4-6 garlic cloves, diced
1/2 cup dry wine or 2 T balsamic vinegar
1/3 cup vodka
1 T sugar
salt and pepper to taste
32 oz canned tomatoes or 6 - 8 cut up tomatoes, cut up
2 T parsley, any kind
1/2 cup milk, any kind
So - you sautee the onions & garlic in some olive oil, and then add the next six ingredients.
Bring to the boil, let cook about 20 minutes, and then add your last ingredient, the milk.
Makes about 5 cups; serving size is one cup.
