Baked Tomatoes With Macaroni
Ingredients:
6 Tomatoes
1 C. Cold Cooked Jewel Macarioni
1 t. Grated Onion
1/2 t. Chopped Parsley
2 strips Bacon
1/4 t. Allspice
Salt
Jewel Pepper
1/4 C. Jewel Butter Wafer Crumbs
Directions:
Scoop out tomatoes, Add macaroni, onions and parsley to the tomato pulp. Mince the bacon and brown until crisp. Add bacon and bacon fat to the macarioni mixture. Add allspice, salt and pepper to taste Stuff tomatoes and cover each with a thin strip of bacon and cracker crumbs. Bake in a hot oven ( 425ºF) 30 minutes. Serves 6
