Spinach Strawberry Salad
'This may sound strange, one of my 'sure to make a hit' recipes'
· 12 oz fresh baby spinach
· 2 Tbsp toasted sesame seeds*
· 1/4 cup vegetable oil
· 2 Tbsp raspberry vinegar (or white wine vinegar - I prefer the raspberry)
· 2-3 Tbsp sugar
· 2 Tbsp minced green onions
· salt & pepper to taste
· 1/4 tsp Worcestershire sauce
· dash of Tabasco
· 1 basket strawberries, sliced
· Thoroughly wash and dry spinach and tear into bite size pieces
· Toss spinach with sesame seeds
· Whisk together remaining ingredients, except strawberries
Just before serving add strawberries and dressing
*To Toast sesame seeds: Put seeds in heavy fry pan and over medium heat, stir and cook until golden brown
