    White Wine Pasta Sauce

    3 T. olive oil
    1 t. crushed garlic
    1 shredded carrot
    3 T. fresh chopped parsley
    3 T. fresh chopped basil
    1 to 3 t. crushed red pepper (to taste)
    2 T. fresh lemon juice
    1/2 to 1 c. white wine (I have used red too)
    1 lg. can crushed tomatoes
    Parmesan cheese

    Heat olive oil, add garlic, carrot, parsley, basil & crushed red pepper, stir for a couple minutes. Add lemon juice & wine, let simmer down a bit (about 5 to minutes) add tomatoes & simmer 30 minutes. Toss with pasta & top with Parmesan cheese.

    *Can use red wine!
