Wasabi Tarter Sauce

    I was asked by a few members if I would post my recipe for this.

    I always have made my own tartar sauce, but one night, I just wanted something "different". So, I experimented! I don't measure anything, so this is approximate:

    1 cup light mayo
    1 tablespoon honey mustard
    1 small onion, grated
    1-2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
    1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
    1 tablespoon wasabi paste (I buy it at Meijer)
    1/2 tsp Old Bay seasoning (you can use 1/4 tsp seasoned salt instead, if you don't have it)

    Mix it all together, and refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.

    I eat fish at least 4 times a week (meat allergy), so it's always in my fridge. My husband likes it for dipping fries, chicken nuggets, etc. It's great on fish sandwiches!
