    Cranberry BBQ Sauce

    1 bottle ketchup (14 oz.)
    1/4 cup cider vinegar
    1/4 cup yellow mustard
    1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
    2 T. molasses
    1/2 medium onion, minced
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/4 cup canned jellied cranberry sauce, cut into 1/2 inch dice.
    1/2 t. coarse salt (like sea or kosher)
    1/2 t. fresh ground black pepper

    COMBINE all the ingredients in a heaavy nonreactive saucepan and gradually bring to a boil over medium heat, whisking constaantly to dissolve the bits of cranberry sauce.

    Simmer the sauce until it is thick, stirring often to prevent scorching, about 20 minutes.

    If you are not using it right away, place in a jar to cool to room temp and then place in refrigerator.
    The sauce will keep for several months!

    Good on chicken, pork turkey or anything!

    NOTE:
    If you want it a bit more spicy you can throw in some cayenne or hot sauce, but taste it first!
