Fun Night Cole Slaw

Serves 10
1 (3lb.) head green cabbage, cut up
2 medium yellow onions, peeled
2 carrots, washed & shredded
Shred cabbage & put it in a layer in a big bowl. Shred the onions & layer on top of cabbage. Shred the carrots, then layer over onions.
3/4 c. white vinegar
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 Tbls. celery seed
1/2 tsp. salt
Bring all these to a boil. Add 3/4 c. vegetable oil, bring to a boil again. Pour over the vegetables in the bowl while still hot. Cover it all with a lid & let stand a while. After its cooled down, put in an airtight container & refrigerate. Its delicious!
