    4 T butter, divided
    2 T flour
    1 med onion chopped
    3 celery stalks, chopped
    1 - 2 pablano peppers, seeded and chopped
    2 - 14 oz cans creamed corn
    1 - 16oz bag frozen corn - can use fresh
    32 oz chicken broth
    1 c whipping cream
    2 tsp sugar
    1/2 tsp cayenne
    1 lb uncooked shrimp, peeled, deveined, and coarsely chopped
    6 T fresh cilantro - optional
    salt and pepper to taste

    Mix 2 T butter, melted w/ flour, set aside.

    Melt other 2 T butter and add onion, celery and peppers and saute til soft, about 5 min.

    Add creamed corn and next 5 ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Whisk in butter/flour mixture and simmer for 15 min.
    Add shrimp and cilantro and simmer until shrimp are cooked thru. Season w/ salt and pepper.
