    Pasta Fagioli with Sausage

    2 T olive oil
    1/2 pound sweet italian sausage, casings removed and discarded
    3 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
    3 large chicken bouillon cubes
    1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
    1 t dried italian herb seasoning (i just used basil and oregano)
    1/4 t onion salt
    1/4 t pepper
    1 lb. ditalini pasta
    2 cans (19 oz each) cannellini beans, drained and rinsed (same as great northern)
    1/2 c grated parmesan cheese

    1. In large saucepan, heat oil over med-high heat. Crumble sausage into saucepan; cook, stirring occasionally, until no longer pink, about 5 minutes. Add garlic; cook 1 minute.

    2. Add dissolved bouillon cubes, tomatoes, italian seasoning, onion salt and pepper. Bring to boiling over high heat. Stir in pasta. Reduce heat; simmer, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender, 10-11 minutes.

    3. Stir in beans; cook until beans are heated through, about 1 minute. Serve immediately with cheese.
