    Cream of tomato Soup

    2 1/2 cups fresh or canned tomatoes
    1/2 cup mince onion
    2 tsp. white sugar
    3/4 tsp. salt
    dash pepper & paprika
    2 tbsp. but or fat
    2 tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash pepper
    2 cups milk

    Combine tomatoes, onion, sugar, 3/4 tsp. salt, pepper & paprika in saucepan; simmer gently 10 mins. Press through sieve. In separate saucepan, blend butter and flour, salt & pepper; let bubble over love heat for 3 mins; slowly add milk, cook & stir til smooth and thick; addhot tomato puree; beat with beater to keep from separating; hat almost to boiling, serve at once.
