Turkey Rice Soup
6 cups chicken or turkey broth
3 stalks of celery, sliced
2 medium carrots, peeled and sliced into rounds
1/2 cup rice
1 medium onion, cut into small wedges
2 Tbsp. garlic/herb seasoning blend
2 cups cooked turkey, cut into pieces
Combine chicken or turkey broth, celery, carrots, onion and seasoning. Blend in a large sauce pan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 1 hour. Add rice and turkey and simmer 25 to 30 minutes. Serve immediately or refrigerate. Serves 8.
