  • sausage corn chowder

    love this. You can double if you want it for a main dish

    SAUSAGE CORN CHOWER

    8 oz pork sausage
    1/3 cup scallions
    1 can condensed cream of chicken or cream of herb and chicken soup
    1 soup can milk or half and half
    1 can sweet corn undrained
    1/2 cup swiss cheese (or cheese of choice)
    1/4 tsp hot pepper sauce

    1. cook sausage in skillet until cooked through, drain
    2. add scallions, cook 1 minute
    3. stir in soup, milk, cheese, corn and pepper sauce, heat through, stirring occationally

    makes 4 1/2 cups

        This sounds delicious. I like your addition of sausage to corn soup. I would think that this will add a lot of flavor. Thanks.
