    GRANDMA"S PEA DUMPLINGS


    2-3 cans peas, undrained
    butter
    milk
    flour or cornstarch for thickening
    salt & pepper\
    small can biscuits


    Place peas & butter in a saucepan and cook until peas are good and hot, add about 1 cup milk and cook until heated through, take some of broth out and place in a bowl and add enough flour or cornstarch to make a thickening then add back to pan stirring constantely.

    When pea mixture is as thick as you like, open small can biscuits and cut biscuits into 1/4's and drop over into pan cook about 10-15 minutes longer until dumplings are done.,
