Chinese Marinated Broccoli:
Serves 4
3 c. bite-size broccoli flowerets
1/3 c. mayo or salad dressing
1 Tbls. sugar
2 Tbls. white wine vinegar
2 Tbls. Hoisin sauce
1 Tbls. sesame oil
1 tsp. light soy sauce
1 tsp. chili paste
Place broccoli in boiling water,heat to boiling.Boil uncovered 1 minute,drain.Immediately rinse in cold water,drain.Mix remaining ingredients,stir in broccoli.Cover & refrigerate 1 hour.Drain just before serving.
Well...I made it the other night, but I made a double batch of the sauce, so I'd have it for next time. Instead...I coated two tuna steaks with it, and cooked them on the GF grill tonight for my dinner. OMG...it was wonderful!!!
