It's that time of the year! YUMMY! 
I also included my green tomato relish recipe.
Fried Green Tomatoes
6 to 8 large green tomatoes, sliced 1/4 inch thick
2 egg, beaten
1/2 cup flour
1 tsp. hot pepper sauce, or to taste
1 tsp. salt
pinch of black pepper
2 cup fine bread crumbs
Olive oil for frying
Coat tomato slices with flour, then dip in egg (seasoned with salt,
pepper, and hot sauce) and finally in bread crumbs. Using medium
heat, brown on both sides in a skillet with 1/2" of oil.
Serve hot, with extra hot sauce and green tomato relish.
Bean's Green Tomato Relish
1 small sweet onion, chopped
2 medium green tomatoes, diced
1/4 t. sugar
1 T. white vinegar
1 t. hot sauce
1/2 t. lemon juice
Salt & pepper to taste
Simmer ingredients for about 1 1/2 hours. Serve warm over Fried Green Tomatoes. Mmmmmmm
