has anyone tried this? That is a lot of vinegar and our dressing bottle lists oil as the 1st ingredient.

I would agreee with that Jack. Seems like the proportions of vinegar to oil is off. Just my opinion.

The WAAAY high vinegar level was my first thought too and I like vinegary dressing MUCH more than most. The 'usual' ratio is 3 oil to 1 vinegar in most recipes.

          If/when I try this I will
Start by making a half recipe
Adjust ratio to 2 parts oil to 1 part vinegar

Hey y'all. Well I just saw these reponses & since this isn't a tried & true recipe from me,I just went & tried out this recipe a few moments ago for the first time & I have to agree that's way too much vinegar, its very tart.& if it were me,I would want some more spice & sweetness added as well. I also rechecked the recipe w/the amounts here & they are all the same as they say in it.So sorry for any inconvenience.

I think I will try it with my normal ratio. I can use my fresh herbs.
