    Doe's Eat Place, Greenville Mississippi.

    Broiled Shrimp:
    Serves 2

    24 unpeeled,large raw shrimp
    1/4 c.roasted garlic butter,melted
    2 T.fresh lemon juice
    3/4 tsp.Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 tsp.Creole seasoning
    1/2 tsp.paprika
    1/2 tsp.dried Italian seasoning
    Hot cooked rice,opt.

    Preheat broiler w/oven rack 3" from heat.Peel shrimp,leaving tails on,devein,if desired.Place shrimp in a lightly greased broiler pan.Combine melted garlic butter,lemon juice & the next 4 ingredients,stirring well.Drizzle garlic butter mixture over shrimp.Broil 4-5 minutes or just till shrimp turn pink.Serve over rice,if desired.

    Note:
    We tested w/Land O Lakes Roasted Garlic Butter Spread in a tub.

    Aunt Florence's Bit Bowl:
    Serves 4

    1/3 c.olive oil
    1/4 c.fresh lemon juice
    1/2 tsp.salt
    1 garlic clove,pressed
    1 small head iceberg lettuce,torn(5 cups)
    1 large tomato,chopped
    1 small purple onion,thinly sliced

    Whisk together olive oil & next 3 ingredients in a small bowl.Combine lettuce,tomato, & onion in a large bowl,gradually add enough olive oil mixture to coat leaves,tossing gently.Serve salad w/remaining olive oil mixture,if desired.
