My DDG had a grad party, DD served, cocktail weenies in sauce, meatballs in BBQ sauce, finger sandwiches, fruit trays, veggies trays, but their big hit was a chocolate fountain, they used it for dipping fruit.I know they had more food, but my mind is blank right now.
I organize chores into catagories.
Things I won't do now; things I won't do later; things I'll never do.
We always wanted to do a cook-out-but with 3 boys graduating in different years-each time it rained-so we ended up doing Kentucky Fried Chicken, chips, dip, veggie and fruit platter, the cocktail hot dogs in sauce, potato salad, deviled eggs, regular cake and ice cream cake, pop, ice tea, lemonade.

You can really add any type of fruit you want but one word of advice. Don't use blueberries unless you want all of your fruit blue. Been there done that, it looked gross.
We just had my son's grad party two weeks ago,and we served hot dogs and coney dog sauce with all the condiments along with chips, tortilla chips and cheese, cole slaw, relish tray, dessert ball and teddy grahams, and cake w/ice cream (of course). Every one ate and it had a picnic atmosphere! Many went up for seconds!
Congrats to the grad and I hope you enjoy your party!!
We just had a grad party for my oldest daughter. We served grilled burgers and dogs. The graduate does not eat either so I fixed some taco stuff, also. We served baked beans, potato salad and mac & cheese, too. I don't have recipes written down. Sorry. We didn't have a grad. cake. I fixed an ooey gooey butter cake and chocolate chip cookie bars. It was great.
Congratulations to the Grad.
Spicy food speeds up your metabolism. Put salsa on your cupcakes.
My grad party (some 20 years ago) was broken up by the cops! I can't imagine a grad party so flaky as to not have alcohol, but maybe that's because we were raised in the Midwest?
