Hi new here and looking for a recipe to make condensed milk. Had one years ago but cant find it.

Does this sound right?
Make Your Own Condensed Milk
1 cup dry milk
2/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup boiling water
3 tablespoons melted butter
Put ingredients in blender and whip until smooth.

Here's another one
Homemade Sweetened Condensed Milk
SERVES 10 , 1 1/3 cups
1/2 cup cold water
1 1/3 cups nonfat dry milk powder
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
Stir milk into cold water.
Microwave on high 45 seconds to 1 minute until steaming, stir in sugar & vanilla.
Refrigerate till cool before using.Comment

This sounds very similar to what I had...I'll give it a try.
