    METHOD:

    TIME: Prep/Total Time: 10 min.

    Ingredients:
    3/4 cup vegetable oil
    1/4 cup white wine vinegar
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon ground mustard
    1/2 teaspoon sugar
    1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    3 to 4 drops hot pepper sauce
    Salad greens
    Bell peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes and/or other vegetables of your choice
    Directions:
    In a jar with a tight-fitting lid, combine the first seven ingredients and shake well. Toss salad greens and vegetables in a large bowl or arrange on individual salad plates. Serve with dressing. Yield: 1 cup dressing.

    Blender French Dressing

    2 large Onion-chopped
    2 cups Sugar
    4 teaspoons Salt
    2 teaspoons Celery Seed
    2 cups Ketchup
    4 cups Oil
    1 1/4 cups Vinegar (white)
    1/4 cup Worchestershire Sauce

    Place in blender and blend until smooth.

    Yield's one gallon

    This keeps very well in the refrigerator.

    Dorthy Lynch Dressing

    1 cup sugar
    1/2 tsp garli powder
    1 tsp dry mustard
    1 tsp celery seed
    1 cup oil
    1 tsp salt
    1/2 c tarragon vinegar
    1 tsp black pepper
    1 can Campbells Tomato Soup..not generic

    mix everything in a blender and refrigerate .

      Raspberry Dressing (easy)
      1/3 c. vegetable oil
      2 T. raspberry vinegar
      2 T. raspberry preserves

      Mix together in a jar and refrigerate for about half hour before tossing with salad greens.

      Strawberry Venaigrette
      1 c. strawberry puree
      1 c. extra virgin olive oil
      1 T. Balsamic vinegar
      1/2 c. red wine or champagne vinegar
      salt & black pepper to taste
      1 T. fresh basil
      2 cloves garlic, chopped fine
      1 t. sugar

      Mix all the ingredients together in a quart jar and shake until well combined. ALlow to chill for about 2 hours before serving.

      Tabasco/Avery Island Dressing (one of my favorite dressings)
      3/4 c. salad oil
      1/4 c. vinegar
      1 t. sugar
      1/2 t. salt
      1/2 t. paprika
      1/2 t. dry mustard
      1/4 t. Tabasco

      Hummm, I think I will put together a good salad tonight!

      Mix all ingredients in a jar until well blended and chill before using.
