  • Cream of onion soup?

I remember of couple of postings about recipes using cream of onion soup. Well, I couldn't find it back then, but now my store has it. Now what do I do w/it? Anything especially good using it instead of cream of mushroom, etc.?

Sounds unappealing to me and I dearly love onions. I am looking forward to seeing some of the anwers to your question.
You could probably substitute it for recipes calling for cream of whatever soups...
Have you looked on the label for a recipe?
    (It may not have one)
Have you made time to listen to the birds today........

Yep, there is a pork chop recipe on the label, but I remember reading something on here, and I thought it sounded good. Of course, I'm old and can't remember.

        This recipe is really good:

        Almond Bacon Chicken

        4 bacon strips
4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
        1/4 tsp. pepper
1 can (10 3/4 ounces) cream of onion soup
        1/4 c. chicken broth
        1/4 c. sliced almonds, toasted

Wrap each bacon strip around each chicken breast. Sprinkle with pepper. Cover and cook at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Combine soup and broth and spoon around chicken. Cook uncovered until juices run clear. Sprinkle with almonds.
