    Re: Cinnamon Rolls

I just make a batch of homemade rolls and let it rise once. Then roll it out into rectangle, spread with melted butter, and sprinkle cinnamon over butter VERY generousely(sp). Do not sprinkle sugar over this, as it will cause the rolls to stick to the pan and burn.
Then, roll up, slice , let rise and bake until golden brown.
Now cool a bit and make a glaze of powdered sugar and milk. Drizzle over your cinnamon rolls and Enjoy.

You can use bread dough..I roll it out into a rectangle also but spread softened butter on the dough and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon mixture, roll it up and slice, and put them on parchment paper covered cookie sheets to rise until double. Then bake. let cool and drizzle with a little powdered sugar glaze! Yummmmm! You can also put raisins in with the brown sugar mixture or walnuts.
