That sounds like my broccoly salad, 'cept for the cashews... which can ONLY make it better... and lacking a cup of shredded cheddar cheese, which can ONLY make THIS recipe better!! haha

check the brocoli salad recipes posted here.....there are a few slightly different recipes, that you can change for family taste.

Its an easy salad to make, and now, Costco and some of the large grocery stores have bags of "brocoli heads" that you can buy, and make the salad even quicker and easier. Plan to make it a few hours ahead so it can chill and mingle the flavors.

I love to use craisins in the salad for a sweet, fruit taste. My family likes the orange flavored craisins the best

That's the exact recippe I use, but instead of Splenda, I use regular sugar, and taste to see if it needs a bit more. When I'm in a time crunch, I buy the already cooked bacon, and crumble that. Saves time, and doesn't change the flavor a bit. It's delicious, and tastes just like the stuff at Sweet Tomatoes.

I found this Sweet Tomato's recipe.

    Joan's Broccoli Madness
    Source: forum.lowcarber.org

    3/4 C Mayo
    2T Splenda
    2T Apple cider vinegar
    1/2 medium onion
    3 crowns broccoli
    1/2 C Cashews
6 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled

Mix together dressing- mayo, splenda, vinegar and chill for 1 hour.

Rinse broccoli in cold water to crisp, chop onions, and combine dry ingredients.

Toss salad together and chill for 1 hr or overnight.
