  • Asian slaw or broccoli slaw

Looking for a recipe that uses packaged broccoli slaw, rice wine vinegar, peanut butter, ginger, soy sauce and some other ingredients. Saw it somewhere online a few weeks ago and forgot to copy it. I think it had uncooked ramen noodles in it, too. Thanks, CKers!

Until someone posts a tried and true recipe, I'll post this recipe I found on the Internet. You could add ramen noodles to it.

    Asian Slaw
    Source: SAGRA Cooking

    1/2 teaspoon ginger
    1/2 cup rice wine vinegar
    1 tablespoon soy sauce
    1 lime, juiced
    2 tablespoons sesame oil
    1/2 cup peanut butter
1 bag broccoli or coleslaw, mix
1 red bell pepper, julienne fine
    bean sprouts
1 large carrot, grated fine with a peeler
3 green onions, cut on the bias, all of white part and half of the green
    2 tablespoons chiffonade cilantro
    1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

In a small bowl, or food processor combine ginger, vinegar, soy sauce, lime juice, oil, and peanut butter. In a large bowl, combine all other ingredients and then toss with dressing.

I just saw this in my kraft magazine.

          Asian Slaw

12 cups packaged coleslaw blend (about 2 large 16-oz. pkg.)
1 can (11 oz.) mandarin orange segments, drained
          1/2 cup KRAFT CATALINA Dressing
          1/4 cup MIRACLE WHIP Dressing
          2 Tbsp. soy sauce
1/3 cup PLANTERS Honey Roasted Peanuts

TOSS coleslaw blend and oranges in large bowl.
MIX dressings and soy sauce in small bowl. Pour dressing mixture over coleslaw mixture; toss gently until well coated.
COVER and refrigerate 1 to 2 hours or overnight. Sprinkle with peanuts just before serving.
