1 lb. ground beef
1 med. onion, chopped
1 ear. garlic, minced
1 oz. Ragu spaghetti sauce
1 can stewed tomatoes
16 oz. medium or large shell macaroni
16 oz. sour cream
8 oz. provolone, shredded
8 oz. mozzarella, shredded
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cook, drain and rinse the pasta.
Brown ground beef, onion and garlic. Drain.
Add spaghetti sauce and tomatoes to the ground beef. Simmer 20 minutes.
Place 1/2 the macaroni in a large baking dish. Cover with 1/2 the sauce, 1/2 the sour cream. Add 1/2 of the grated cheese.
Repeat layers, ending with the cheese.
Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until cheese bubbles.
