    Dipping Sauces for Shrimp Balls

    Soy-Ginger Sauce:

    1/4 cup soy sauce
    1 tablespoon oil
    2 teaspoons groung gingerroot
    1 tablespoon sugar

    In small bowl, combine all ingredients, mix well. Serve at room temperature.

    Mustard Dipping Sauce:

    1/4 cup dry mustard
    2 tablespooons sugar
    1/8 teaspoon salt
    1/4 cup cider vinegar
    1 egg, slighly beaten
    1/2 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing

    1. In small saucepan, combine mustard, sugar and salt; mix well. Add vinegar and egg. Blend well. Cook over low heat for 2 to 3 minutes or until thickened, stirring constantly. Refrigerate 10 to 15 minutes or until cooled.

    2. Stire in mayonnaise until well blended. Store in refrigerator up to 2 weeks.

    Sweet Chili-Plum Sauce:

    2 teaspoons oil
    1/2 cup chopped onion
    1 (8.5-oz.) jar (3/4 cup) Chinese plum sauce
    2 tablespoons fresh orange juice
    2 teaspons chili paste

    1. Heat oil in medium skillet over medium high heat until hot. Add onion; cook until tender, stirring constantly.

    2. Add all remaining ingredients, cook until thoroughly heated, stirring occasionally. Serve warm.

    Hoisin Dipping Sauce:

    1/4 cup hoisin sauce
    2 tablespoons ketchup
    1 tablespoon honey
    2 teaspoons soy saue

    In small saucepan, combine all ingredients; mix well. Cook over medium low heat until thoroughly heated, stirring constantly. Serve warm.
