    Peanut Buster Parfait Dessert

    PEANUT BUSTER PARFAIT DESSERT

    1 (15 oz.) Oreo cookies
    1 stick butter
    1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream
1/4 to 1/2 c. peanuts, depending on how many nuts you wish
1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip, thawed

Crush entire bag of cookies, filling and all. Melt butter and mix with cookies. Pat into a 9 x 13 inch pan and chill in freezer. Soften 1/2 of the half gallon ice cream and spread over Oreo crust. Sprinkle half of the peanuts over ice cream. Put in freezer to set.

    FUDGE SAUCE:

    1 can evaporated milk
    2/3 c. chocolate chips
    1 stick butter
    2 c. powdered sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla

Combine evaporated milk, chocolate chips, butter, powdered sugar and vanilla. Let boil for 8 minutes, stirring continuously. Let mixture get cold.

Spread 1/2 of fudge sauce over set ice cream and peanuts. Return it to the freezer until firm. Soften the remaining half of ice cream and spread over fudge sauce and sprinkle with remaining peanuts. Freeze again until set. Spread the remaining fudge sauce over the ice cream layer and refreeze. Spread softened Cool Whip over fudge layer and return to freezer until firm.
