    Cabbage Norway:
    I havent tried this yet,but hope to soon.


    1 small head cabbage
    1 tsp.salt
    3 Tbls.butter
    3 Tbls.all purpose flour
    1&1/2 c.milk
    1/2 c.shredded sharp cheddar cheese
    cayenne pepper
    1/2 c.buttered bread crumbs

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.Cut cabbage into shreds.Put cabbage into a pot & add boiling water & salt.Bring to a boil & simmer 2 minutes,drain.

    In another pan,heat butter,stir in flour & whisk.Blend well,add milk stirring rapidly.Season with salt & pepper.Remove from heat & stir in cheese.Add cayenne pepper to taste.Combine cabbage & sauce.Spoon into buttered casserole dish & top with bread crumbs.Bake til 25 minutes or til top is golden brown.
