    Roasted Olives in Feta Cheese


    1 cup of green pimento stuffed olives

    1 cup black pitted kalamata olives

    3 Tbs italian salad dressing

    1/2 tsp black pepper

    1/2 pound of crumbled feta cheese

    3 -8-oz of cream cheese ( a total of 24 oz)

    1/2 tsp chopped garlic

    Drain the olives and toss with the dressing. Place in a oven proof baking dish and roast for 24 minutes at 350.

    Combine the cream cheese, feta cheese and garlic. Mix well. Add the roasted and cooled olives to the cheese and mix well. Line a flat dish with plastic wrap and firmly press the cheese into the dish. Smooth into a large cheese round. cover with plastic and chill for at least 4 hours~

    No reason why you could not line a semi deep round dish with plastic wrap pack in the mixture and chill well~ Invert onto a serving platter, add some crackers of choice and serve ~ This will create a nicer looking platter~ Janie`
