Pumpkin Swirl Bread
1 8oz cream cheese
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg,beaten
1¾ cups flour
1½ cups sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp nutmeg
1 cup pumpkin
½ cup margarine
1 egg, beaten
1/3 cup water
Add pumpkin,1/2 cup margarine,1 beaten egg and 1/3 cup of water. Mix well. Then add flour, 1½ cup sugar, baking soda, cinnamon, salt and nutmeg. Pour into a greased and floured bread pan except for 2 cups.
Mix cream cheese,¼ cup sugar, and beaten egg together.
Place mixture on top of pumpkin mixture in pan. Add remaining pumpkin mixture. Swirl once or twice with a knife.
Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 10 mins. Cool 5 mins and remove from pan.
