  • Honey Mustard-glazed Roasted Green Beans

    HONEY MUSTARD-GLAZED ROASTED GREEN BEANS (also from our local newspaper)(looks good)


    Start to finish: 30 minutes
    Servings: 8
    Two 16-ounce bags frozen whole green beans
    2 tablespoons olive oil
    2 tablespoons coarse-grain mustard
    2 tablespoons honey
    1 tablespoon soy sauce
    Salt and ground black pepper, to taste

    Heat the oven to 450 F. Line two baking sheets with foil.

    Place the green beans in a large bowl. Drizzle with the oil and toss to coat. Divide the green beans between the baking sheets.

    Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes, or until the green beans are browned and tender.

    Meanwhile, in a small bowl, stir together the mustard, honey and soy sauce. When the beans are cooked, divide the honey mustard mixture between the two baking sheets of beans, then toss to coat. Return the beans to the oven for 4 minutes.

    Remove from the oven and season with salt and pepper.
