    Whiskey Cake (sounds delicious!)

    Ingredients:
    6 tbsps whiskey
    2 packages lady fingers, separated
    1 box powdered sugar
    2 stick butter, softened
    5 eggs, separated
    1 cup pecans
    1 tbsp sugar
    1 tsp pure vanilla extract

    DIRECTIONS:
    Line bottom and sides of a springform pan with separated ladyfingers.
    Reserve remaining fingers.
    In a medium mixing bowl, cream butter and powdered sugar until blended.
    Add egg yolks, 1 at a time.
    Stir in whiskey and pecans.
    Set aside.
    In a large bowl, beat egg whites with sugar until stiff.
    Fold whites and vanilla gently into egg yolk mixture.
    Pour into springform pan and top with remaining ladyfingers.
    Refrigerate.

    ICING:
    1&1/2 pints heavy whipping cream.
    1 tbsp sugar

    DIRECTIONS:
    In medium bowl, combine cream and sugar.
    Beat until soft peaks form.
    Remove cake from refrigerator and springform pan.
    Cover with whipped cream.
    Return to refrigerator and let set overnight. If desired, freeze cake up to 2 weeks.
