    Tuna Noodle Casserole:

    1 can(10 3/4oz.)cream of celery soup*
    1/2 c.milk
    2 c.cooked medium egg noodles(2 c.uncooked)
    1 c.cooked peas
    2 Tbls.chopped pimento
    2 cans(7 oz.each)tuna,drained & flaked
    3 Tbls.butter,divided usage
    2 Tbls.fine dry bread crumbs
    1 small yellow onion,diced

    In fry pan saute onion in 2 Tbls.butter til limp & translucent.In a 1&1/2 qt.casserole dish,combine soup & milk.Stir in noodles,peas,onion,pimento & tuna.Bake @ 400 degrees for 25 minutes or til hot,stir.

    Meanwhile in a small saucepan over medium heat,in hot butter,stir bread crumbs til lightly browned.Top casserole with bread crumbs & bake 5 minutes longer.

    *Cream of mushroom soup may be substituted for the celery soup.
