I haven't tried these yet but they sound truly spectacular - if you're having a party and want to impress:

    CHICKEN FRIED STRAWBERRIES
    Serves 4
    STRAWBERRIES: INGREDIENTS
    8 fresh Driscoll strawberries
    4 cups all purpose flour
    3 tbsp. fresh ground cinnamon
    3 tbsp. sugar
    3 whole eggs
    4 cups peanut oil
    DIRECTIONS
Mix flour and 2 tablespoons cinnamon in a bowl. Mix sugar and 1 tablespoon cinnamon in a separate bowl. Roll strawberries, one at a time, in cinnamon flour, then eggs, then back in flour. Heat oil in a sauce pan to 350 degrees. Drop breaded strawberries carefully into oil, and fry for 1 ½ minutes each, or until golden.

    FOR CREAM: INGREDIENTS
    ½ quart heavy whipping cream
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    ½ cup brown sugar
    ½ tsp. vanilla extract
    DIRECTIONS
Mix all ingredients together, and whip until soft peaks.

Serve with whipped cream, drizzle with chocolate ganache, and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.

FOR GANACHE: 4 oz. chocolate Ganache
To make ganache boiled heavy cream is poured over chopped chocolate and the mixture is stirred until velvety smooth. The proportions of chocolate to cream can vary depending on its use, but the basic form is equal weights of chocolate and cream. Dark, milk, or white chocolate can be used to make ganache and different flavorings can be added such as liqueurs and extracts. Butter, oil, or corn syrup can also be added when a dark shiny glaze is desired.
A general guideline for making ganache. To make a glaze or coating: 1 part cream to 3 parts chocolate. To make a truffle filling: 1 part cream to 2 parts chocolate. To make a light filling: 1 part cream to 1 part chocolate.
