Martha Washingtons
A delicious candy for eating and giving!
2 boxes (one pound each) of powdered sugar
2 sticks of butter
1 can condensed milk
2 cups toasted, chopped pecans
one pound chocolate
Paraffin
Mix the all of the ingredients together adding the nuts last, and mix well.
Roll into 1 inch balls and drop on waxed paper.
While the candy is drying, melt 1 pound of chocolate an 1/2 package of paraffin in a double pot, and combine well.
Dip the candy into the paraffin and place on waxed paper to dry.
Store in air tight tins, and also give in tins.
You can't eat just one!
