    Mixer--here ya go. I posted this a couple of months back. I make these every year...

    Whiskey Balls

    1 box Vanilla Wafers-chopped fine (powder)
    1 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 cup pecans or walnuts-chopped
    2 Tbsp. white Karo syrup
    1 cup powdered sugar
    8 Tbsp (or 2 jiggers) whiskey

    Mix together all of the above ingredients. Add whiskey, one shot at a time, until mixture is a little moist and crumbly. Let dough stand, covered for 5 to 10 minutes. If dough is not moist enough, add more whiskey. Roll into balls and then roll into extra powdered sugar.

    Store in air-tight container. Ready to eat overnight, or keep them for a few months.
