Many of us have been opening those packets our whole lifes.
2 TBSP unsweetened Cocoa Powder
3 TBSP sugar, or to taste
1/4 cup Hot Water
1 1/2 cup milk
Regular size marshmellows
Mix Cocoa and sugar in a small saucepan. Gradually stir in hot water. place pan over med. heat and bring to a boil. Lower heat and cook for 2 minutes. stir constantly. Stir in milk. Cook until the mixture is as hot as you can get without boiling.
Remove from heat and beat with rotary beaters until foamy. This step intensifies the flavor the chocolate and prevents a skin from forming on top as the cocoa begins to cool.
Top with a marshmallow- or two!
Makes 2 Generous Cups.
