    Macadamia French Toast

    6 large fresh eggs
    1/2 cup heavy cream
    1/4 t. orange juice
    1/3 cup sugar
    1 T. pure vanilla
    One 16 inch loaf of french bread cut into 1 & 1/2 inch slices
    1/3 cup butter
    1/2 cup chopped macadamia nuts, fine
    Cream of coconut

    Whisk the eggs, milk, nutmeg, OJ, sugar and vanilla in a bowl.
    Place the bread slices in two 9X13 inch pans.
    Pour half of the egg mixture over the bread in each pan.You may turn over after bottom has been saturated. All of the egg mixture will be aborbed into the bread.
    Cover tightly with plastic wrap, and plaace in the fridg overnight.

    In the AM, preheat your overn to 400.
    Melt the butter and divide between two jelly roll pans or cookie sheets.
    Place the bread slices on the pans without the sides touching on the buttered pans.

    Sprinkle with the nuts.
    BAKE 20-25 minutes until golden brown.

    You can sprinkle the coconut cream over the toast or your fav syrup!

    This is very special and delicious served with some praline bacon. DELICIOUS!
