White Chocolate Cherry Almond Bark

1 - 24 oz. package white chocolate bark
1 - 12 oz. jar maraschino cherries
2/3 cup slivered almonds, toasted
1 tsp. almond extract

Place the white chocolate in a microwave safe bowl and microwave on hight for 1 minute at a time until melted. Be careful not to burn. Drain the cherries and chop.

Add the cherries, toasted almonds and the extract to the melted bark.

Pour onto waxed paper (I use my sil-pat) and spread out to about 1/4 inch thick. Allow to cool completely before breaking into pieces. Store in an airtight container.

This recipe is so easy, but the results will make people think you have been cooking all day.....Go ahead, take the credit anyway!
