Mock Cabbage Rolls for the Crock Pot
(serves 8 / 3 pts.)
1# lean ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
5 C pkg. cabbage cole slaw w/ carrots
1/4 C water
2 t paprika
1/2 t salt
1/4 t pepper
1- 14 oz can chopped tomatoes with juice
1 t Italian seasonings
1 - 8oz. can tomato sauce
Brown beef, drain, add onions, cook until tender.
Throw in crock pot.
Add all other ingredients, stir to combine and cook on low for 4-6 hours.
Serve over cooked rice. (points based on 1/2 C cooked rice per serving)
*I use low and no salt canned goods when I can find them and very lean ground beef will keep the points low.
