    My sister let me borrow this cookbook. Its called 500 Lo Carb recipes

    l bag (1 lb) frozen French cut green beans
    l/2 cup slivered almonds
    4 Tbsp. butter

    1. Steam or microwave the beans according to pkg. directions.
    2. While the beans are cooking, saute the almonds in the butter over medium heat, stirring frequently.
    3. When the beans are cone & almonds are golden, drain the water off of the beans and pour the almonds and butter over them; use a scraper to get all the butter. Toss the mixture & serve.
    4 servings each with 12 g carb. & 4 g. fiber for a total of 8 g of usable carbs & 6 g protein
