    1/2 cup low-fat maple yogurt
    2/3 cup buttermilk
    1/3 cup pitted dates (about 8) coarsely chopped, rehydrated if necessary
    2 frozen bananas , sliced
    2 tbsps bran
    2 to 3 ice cubes, crushed

    Combine the yogurt and buttermilk in a blender. Add all the remaining ingredients. Blend until smooth.
