  • Cookie Dough Balls

If you like to eat raw cookie dough but are concerned about the eggs then this is a recipe to try!! I made this over the weekend and its so good!! Kids want me to make again this weekend. I put 1/2 Tbsp of the sugar in it and it was just right for us.

    CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE DOUGH BALLS(SAFE)

    Ingredients
    1 cup butter
    2 cups all-purpose flour
    1 teaspoon baking soda (optional)
    1/2 to 1 Tbsp sugar
    3/4 cup brown sugar
1 (3 1/2 ounce) box instant vanilla pudding
    1/4 cup milk
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    2 cups chocolate chips
    Directions
In large bowl cream butter and sugars until light in color.
    Add pudding and combine well.
    Stir in vanilla and milk.
Add baking soda, if you choose to & flour 1/2 cup at a time until combined.
    Stir in chocolate chips.
Store in fridge or freeze small scoops in the freezer.
After putting in the fridge for a couple of hours. Roll into small balls and enjoy!

NOTE: After rolling into balls, dip into melted chocolate or chocolate candy bark and let set.
Kids really liked these both with and without the chocolate.

      Re: Cookie Dough Balls

I would say that if you're just going to eat the raw dough, you won't really need the baking soda.

Allie..I don't know what the difference would be if the soda was left out. I put it in when I make this because I wanted it to be as close to "real" cookie dough as possible.

I'm going to try something new with this tomorrow or this weekend. I plan on making some brownies and then spreading the cookie dough on the top after the brownies cool off. Should be good...the kids can't wait for it!
