  • Frank's Buffalo CHicken Dip

I had this at a party a couple weeks ago and it was delicious. I was on the Frank's Hot Sauce www. Ya gotta try it Be sure to use Frank's Hot Sauce and use a quality blue cheese dressing. Takes just like a bufallo wing without the mess.

    8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1/2 cup blue cheese or ranch salad dressing
1/2 cup FRANK'S® REDHOT® Original Cayenne Pepper Sauce or FRANK'S® REDHOT® Buffalo Wing Sauce
1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese or shredded mozzarella cheese
    2 cups shredded cooked chicken

    DIRECTIONS:

    1. HEAT oven to 350°F. Place cream cheese into deep dish 9-inch pie plate. Microwave 1 min. to soften.
    2. WHISK in salad dressing, Frank's RedHot Sauce and cheese until smooth. Stir in chicken.
    3. BAKE 20 min. or until mixture is heated through; stir. Garnish as desired. Serve with crackers or vegetables.

Microwave Directions: Prepare as above. Microwave, uncovered, on HIGH 5 min. until hot, stirring halfway through cooking.
Tip: For a party buffet table, keep this dip hot in a small crock pot or fondue pot.

We love this! I add chopped celery and shredded cheddar to mine. I only recently started liking blue cheese and always used ranch. Can’t wait to try it with the BC! YUM!

*Also canned chicken works great in this too!

I like the tip about the fondue pot.

Hey Bean, what do you serve your dip with? When I had it, it was served with tortilla chips. I was looking for something else ????

I made this for the gals at work this week and added some celery and also some chopped water chestnuts for some extra crunch. We had it with Tostito scoops. It was a big hit. Also, all I had was peppercorn ranch dressing, and it worked out well - just an extra little zing to it.

                    Re: Frank's Buffalo CHicken Dip

                    I make this one:

                    Buffalo Chicken Dip

2-3 chicken breasts - boiled and shredded
12 oz bottle of Ranch Dressing (or 6 oz. ranch dressing and 6 oz. bleu cheese dressing)
5 oz bottle of Frank's red hot sauce
2 8 oz packages of cream cheese
                    2 cups diced celery
2 cups shredded Colby Jack cheese

In saucepan, heat cream cheese, ranch dressing, and celery and stir until smooth. Put chicken in 9 x 13 baking dish, pour ranch dressing in and mix. Pour hot sauce in and mix it all together. Shred cheese over top and
bake for 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Once done, stir to blend the melted cheese into the dip. the chicken mixture. Serve with crackers.

I usually serve it with the chicken biscuit crackers and wheat thins.

I made this yesterday for a family pool party. Three fourths of it went real quick and folks were loving it and lots of good comments. I had a nephew call today and ask if I minded making him some for himself to eat. I did and enjoyed doing it. I want to thank ya'll for the recipe and comments that made me want to try it. THANKS.

Is it really hot (spicy)? I don't like things too spicy.

I have been making it without the dressing all this time, it turns out more like a spread than a dip. I want to see how much thinner the dressing makes it so I will have to try it this way.
