Re: Texas Roadhouse Cinnamon Butter

I'm not the one that made up this recipe I got it from another site. I've never been to Texas Roadhouse there's none around here, so I have no idea what their butter tastes like. I did not make it because of the Texas Roadhouse name, but because it sounded and IS good. But, I have made the one with honey and it's not near as good as this recipe that's why I didn't post that one, but I will list it below for anyone interested.

Recipe source: http://www.recipezaar.com/124968 and the exact recipe is found on numerous other sites.

The HONEY cinnamon butter I made was:
WHIPPED HONEY BUTTER
(like Logan's Texas Roadhouse)

1 cup butter softened at room temperature (Do Not Melt)
1/2 cup honey
1 tsp cinnamon

In small bowl, combine butter and honey. Beat at high speed until light and fluffy. Add cinnamon.
Nice try at the recipe.
However, totally off base.
The product is actually called, "Honey Cinnamon Butter".
Surprise, surprise, the ingredients are nothing more than honey, cinnamon, and butter.
I could give you the ratios but I'd have to kill you.
Samandella, did you mean to come off that way? Some folks don't realize how they appear to others... maybe you were just trying to be funny? Everyone makes mistakes. Would you care to explain yourself? Maybe we just took you the wrong way...

AND..... you never know until you try it. It may taste just like it!!! May not be made just like Roadhouse makes it, but if it tastes the same, who cares.

Some people just don't know when to keep their mouths closed. It's usually me! Glad we can pick on someone else now! lol

Samanella, What is your point coming here, making your first post rude and uncalled for?

Well I missed samanella's reply to this post, but figured it wasn't very nice.

I have eaten at Texas Roadhouse and you get this Cinnamon Honey Butter with there home-made rolls and it is to die for. It's so good you can't stop eating the rolls.

Sometimes by the time my food has came out at a restaurant that has good bread and butter I'm so stuffed I have to get a box and take most of it home. I saw someone had posted the Texas Roadhouse Roll recipe a while back...gotta try that.

I think I'll try this, but instead of using sweetened condensed milk and corn syrup, I might try honey..
