    HAM LOAF

    TOTAL TIME: Prep: 15 min. Bake: 70 min.
    YIELD: 8 servings.

    Ingredients

    2 large eggs
    1 cup 2% milk
    1 cup dry bread crumbs
    1/4 teaspoon pepper
    1-1/2 pound ground fully cooked ham (I used 1 pound)
    1/2 pound ground pork (I used 1 pound)

    GLAZE:

    1/3 cup packed brown sugar
    1/4 cup cider vinegar
    1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
    2 tablespoons water

    Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, beat the eggs; add milk, bread crumbs and pepper. Add ham and pork; mix well. Transfer to a 9x5-in. loaf pan. Bake 30 minutes.

    Meanwhile, combine glaze ingredients; spoon over loaf. Bake until a thermometer inserted in loaf reads 145°, 40 minutes longer, basting occasionally with glaze.

    Charlene’s notes 6-17-2023: This was so good! I used 1 lb ham and 1 lb ground pork so that I could use the entire package of ground pork that I thawed. No other changes at all.​
